Schism parallel double loop
2 Effect Loops in Parallel with Return Level Controls, a Master Bypass, wet/dry wet/off switching for Loop 1 and loop 2 stomps, and phase inversion switch for loop 1.

Mounted In a 4.7 " X 3.7" X 1.34" (lid included in measurement) Cast Aluminum Enclosure.

Outer stomps engage each loop Outer LEDs indicate if loop is wet, or bypassed dry buffered signal

Center stomp is master bypass Center LED indicates Pedal is active

Center Toggle Controls Loop 1 inversion Down for normal operation, Up for inverted.

Outer Toggles control function
of loop1 / loop2 stomp switches
Inward-Wet/Dry Outward-Wet/Off

Divides your effect chain into two parallel loops and recombines the signal with a level control on each loop return.

Thicken up your tone with two similar pedals or shape new sounds mixing contrasting effect together.
Run a single effect in each loop or multiple pedals in series.

With both loops active you can combine the best aspects of your pedals together in parallel operation.

With both loops bypassed pedal functions as a buffer that presents a high impedance load to you guitar. Great at reducing hum or driving long cable runs. The parallel aspect of the pedal remains, resulting in a nice thick clean sound.

Master bypass cuts all circuitry from the guitar signal, in one side and out the other.

Outer toggle switches allow you to change the operation of the Loop 1 and Loop 2 bypass switches. With the toggle flipped inward the stomp switch changes the channel from loop active to dry buffered signal. With the toggle in the outward position the stomp switch changes the channel from loop active to off (muted). The mute setting can be thought of as a "return only" setting, though the effect send is at ground the effect return is connected to the output mixer. This allows delay/echo trails to remain after the loop is bypassed.

Potentiometers control the level of their respective loop returns.

With one loop active and the other bypassed the pedal adds a wet/dry combined output to your existing pedals.

Play with one loop active and the other muted, then engage the second loop in parallel to amp up your tone or boost volume for solo work.

Center polarity switch prevents signal cancellation due to phase opposition caused by inverting effects.

Buffer and mixer sections use Burr-Brown™ low distortion, low noise performance operational amplifiers with true FET input stages, fully independent channels, and positive/negative voltage rails.

As usual a smorgasbord of Capacitors!, metal film resistors, Teflon wire.

Ground lift on loop returns.

Circuitry is powered through an on-board active voltage regulator so it will run on 9 to 18 Volt negative center DC with a 5.5 x 2.1 mm barrel plug.

A killer pedal for sculpting sound.
