BigPipe FET buffer
The Bigpipe uses a Burr-Brown Sound Plus ultra-low distortion, high speed, low noise high-performance operational amplifier with true FET input stage. The OP amp is fed with regulated positive and negative voltage, not a voltage divider setup.

Quality parts throughout! Polyester Orange Drop coupling caps, organic polymer and audio electrolytics, tanatlum polars, metal film resistors and high temp wire. All ICs are in gold plated sockets for easy replacement if ever necessary.

At the front of your chain the buffer presents your guitar with a high impedance input that prevents your pickups from being loaded down. The low impedance output prevents signal degradation caused by multiple patch connections and long cable runs.

At the back the buffer functions as a dedicated driver for long amp return lines. The BigPipe will also greatly reduce the switching noise of true bypass effects and bypass loops when placed after them in your signal chain.

Run one up front and another at the end for uncompromised tone. Your guitar will always see the same high impedance input and your amp will receive a constant low impedance output regardless of what effects are engaged in between.

5.5 x 2.1 Negative center 9-18 volt DC is necessary for operation.
